On Saturday I went and saw the movie Cloverfield, great movie by the way, and had to be sure I was seated and ready to watch the movie trailers. Why? Because this was to be the premier of the new Star Trek XI movie trailer. Sure it ended up only being about a minute long, but is sure got me excited for the new Star Trek movie! After a drought of no new Star Trek media, this was at least a few drinks of refreshing video to keep me going until December 25, 2008.
There are a lot of crappy copies of the trailer floating around on the Internet. Just seeing the Enterprise under construction got the trekky in me going! Here is a decent copy of the teaser. Enjoy!
I am a huge Star Trek fan and had to post a few comments about Majel Barrett Roddenberry. She passed away on December 18, 2008. Ironically I have been watching Star Trek TNG for the past few weeks now and have recently seen her character many times. Although Lwaxany Troi was a quirky character, I
A few months ago I deemed the Star Trek MMORPG dead in space. After Perpetual Entertainment went belly up, I figured that was the end of it. There really haven’t been many good Star Trek games anyway, so I figured this was the end. Previous Post 1 Previous Post 2 Well, it has been picked
Before I realized I was broke and had no money, I was seriously considering dressing up as a Starfleet officer for Halloween (Last year it was a member of Stargate SG-1). I was inspired even more after going to Star Trek the experience. I did quite a bit of research and found some helpful sites
I am happy to say that I managed to make it to Star Trek The Experience before it closed. I made it down on the 22nd of August, just a few weeks before it closed down. I decided, since this would be the last time, to go ahead and fork out the 80+ bucks for
I really can’t believe it, and perhaps I took it for granted. Star Trek the experience is no more as of September 1, 2008. I have been three times and have very fond memories of the place. I went in 2000, 2001 and 2006. I have fond memories of having my picture taken with Borg,
I like to swing by SciFi.com every so often and read what’s going on in their Sci Fi Wire. They often have some good articles there from time to time.Being a sci-fi junkie, I thought it was fun and interesting to see that George Takei gave John Cho his blessing before taking the roll of
Captain, she gave us all she had! Many people are wondering the same thing. Is the Star Trek MMORPG still going to become a reality? The game “expected to launch in 2007″ is still not a reality. Now 2008, it sounds like the developer, Perpetual Entertainment is having its own share of problems. Apparently too
You really can’t get much geekier than an argument on who would win between Star Trek’s Enterprise D or E and a Star Wars Star Destroyer. I know this is all Sci-Fi and a ridiculous never-ending argument. I am a huge fan of both genres, so when I got into a friendly argument with my
I know I may be a little old for toys, but was recently thinking about my favorite Star Trek toys as a kid, which were made by Galoob. Do you remember Galoob? They were around until 1998 when they were bought out by Hasbro. They made some of my favorite Star Trek The Next Generation
That’s right. Pictures are all over the net now showing Zachary Quinto as Spock in the new Star Trek XI movie. I have been posting as much information as possible regarding the new movie and I think this some great stuff. Oh…and by the way…if you didn’t know…Zachary Quinto will be playing Spock. You may
